9/11 observance and ceremony honoring Bedford, Texas firefighter

ToHonorThem.com will launch their new site by recognizing a local hero: Greg Qualls, September 11, 2010 at 5:30pm at the Lifestage Theater in Grapevine, Texas. ToHonorThem.com will present Greg Qualls with a beautiful framed honor award and a unique engraved brick that will be laid at the new Bedford Public Library.
Greg Qualls was on the First Response Team deployed to the Bridge City area in 2008 after Hurricane Ike devastated the region. The Buchanan family were evacuated and escaped the storm's wrath, but they faced a difficult return home. Greg Qualls was a search and rescue specialist and was put in contact with the Buchanan family during the worst of the hurricane. He continually made himself available to the family and offered his support during the entire ordeal. Scott Buchanan said, "Greg knew that we had lost everything and helped us be prepared. He was a huge help in getting us through that difficult time in our life. We wanted to honor Greg and say thank you."
