"It is such an honour to be nominated for a prestigious and globally renowned award like the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award," eagerly expresses Dr. Heidary,. "I am anxiously waiting and hoping to be amongst the finalists for this award."

Dr. Heidary started Childventures in 1999 when he and his wife failed to find an early learning centre that contained the type of program they wanted for their own children. Combining the well-respected programs of Montessori, High Scope, and Core Knowledge together, Dr. Heidary created a system of learning that focuses on neurological development through a combination of nutrition, education and play.

Each facility is equipped with indoor and outdoor playgrounds, age-appropriate sleep rooms, biometric hand scanners for added security, oversized classrooms, natural light, and specialty rooms. The learning centres offer infant through to senior kindergarten programs, summer camps for junior kindergarten to 8th grade aged children and before and after school programs.
