DWG Chooses Adaptris For Expanded Role Within Its Largest CTP

DWG has selected Adaptris for an expanded role within its Certified Technology Program (CTP) developed for the world's second largest international electronics contract manufacturer.

DWG, an Atlanta-based supply chain enablement company that works to bring trading partners together through technology, announced today that it has selected Adaptris, a leading provider of electronic document exchanges and SaaS integration services, for an expanded role within its Certified Technology Program (CTP) developed for the world's second largest international electronics contract manufacturer.

Adaptris has been a part of DWG's largest CTP since its inception in 2010 with its SimpleB2B solution, a SaaS EDI solution targeted primarily towards small to mid-size suppliers. The expanded offering will now include Adaptris' WebSupplier solution, a web-based EDI offering intended for companies needing to automate the exchange of key information but not quite ready for traditional EDI. Like SimpleB2B, the WebSupplier solution is primarily intended for small to mid-size suppliers.

"Based upon their demonstrated ability to provide effective solutions that are easily implemented by our customer's suppliers, we felt it made sense to replace the existing certified web EDI solution with Adaptris' WebSupplier," said Andy Davies, President of Sales & Partner Management at DWG.

Mr. Davies went on to say, "DWG has an obligation to its customers to maintain a CTP with technology vendors that are constantly working to improve their solutions and exhibit a willingness to find creative ways to address the challenges that come from enabling a large, global community of customers and suppliers - Adaptris has consistently gone above & beyond to make this CTP a success. Because of this, when we identified a need to replace the current web EDI solution provider, it just made sense to consider Adaptris as the new provider."

Commenting on the expanded partnership, Jeff Bradshaw, CTO of Adaptris said, "Adaptris is committed to building long-term relationships with its partners. DWG's decision to expand Adaptris' role within its CTP is testimony to the joint success that we have already achieved with DWG and their customers. It is a reflection of the ongoing effort that both partners have made to ensure the success of the CTP over the last three years." He continued, "Adaptris relishes the opportunity to further develop this relationship and demonstrate what it can achieve under this new, broader remit."

DWG's enablement programs provide a step-by-step approach for trading partners to implement complementary systems. From B2B integration in the Cloud, to on-premise ERP, to SCM and every solution in between, enabling a supply chain community of customers and suppliers to choose the solutions they need that are guaranteed to bring better business practices to their large enterprise relationships and throughout their supply chains. As a result, large enterprises and their customers/suppliers can dramatically increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
