ERA Group Launches "ERA Skills Academy"

With the launch of Era Skill Academy (ESA), Era Group aims to impart, develop, and enhance the construction management skills of people, to fulfill both national and organizational requirement of trained manpower. The academy was inaugurated on 14th May, 2012 at Sector-68, Gurgaon by Dr. Sanjiv Marwah, Director Era Business School and Ms. Rashmi Bharana, Member of Board of Governors, Era Business School, with the commencement of first programme "Construction Supervisors Training Programme".

This 3 months training programme focuses on imparting practical site training, along with required theoretical inputs. Era Skills Academy shall cater the requirements of supervisors for different projects across India, where the HR team will hire needy people from different states and train them in different areas of construction. Era Group has taken the onus of themselves, of training, and producing 500 skilled construction supervisors in a year.

The qualifying criteria for this programme is 12th pass and above, with age ranging between 18 to 45 years, where the preferred cities for recruitment will be Tier2, Tier3 cities, and small towns where people are in need of jobs. ERA Group will also consider ex-servicemen who have been exposed to construction industry, and have taken premature retirement.

On completion of training programme, the candidates will be placed on sites across India and will work as trainees for first six months from the date of appointment on company payroll. Brig.
