New Equipment from Chapman UK
Online, June 14, 2013 (Newswire.com) - With the film industry constantly striving for more and more extreme shot making, we ensure that we work with industry professionals constantly to ensure that we develop and innovate our equipment to meet these challenges.
Dune Buggy:-
The Chapman UK Dune buggy is essentially an off road tracking vehicle capable of carrying 4 people (maximum) with the ability to mount one or more cameras anywhere around the vehicle. Where the terrain is rough/muddy/sandy enough to make tracking shots impossible for most, if not all other vehicles; the Dune Buggy excels.
The Dune Buggy can be changed from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheels in the flick of a switch, enabling it to get the best traction possible in difficult circumstances. The dune buggy has a kawasaki 750cc engine but isn't built for speed as top speed is around 36mph this however, enables the operator enough traction and torque, to get the most out of slower more technical tracking shots. It can be easily used with steadicam operators on the rear due to the 2 removable / adjustable mounted seats.
A3 F (Audi A3 - Fast):-
The Audi F is perfect for general tracking work and high speed of fast accelerating shots or where height is an issue using the bigger tracking vehicles.
It's our fastest and most recent addition to our tracking vehicle fleet which has the facility to rig cameras in a multitude of positions on the car, most recently having been used on the latest Tom Cruise film, "All you need is Kill".
