Online, July 11, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Boca Raton--- Professional Social Networking Group (PSNG) will host a networking event on Thursday, July 14th, from 5:30-8 PM at Rocco's Tacos. All are invited to attend. $0 cover and 1 complimentary drink included.

Founder Jeff Tockman created the group in May 2009, to help people in the community build business and professional relationships through recurring networking events. PSNG events mix the best elements of professional networking with the fun and casual nature of a social get-together.

PSNG networking events are held every other Thursday from 5:30 to 8 PM at various venues throughout South Florida. There is no cover charge and each venue provides a complimentary drink. The 2011 events have averaged 350 attendees. PSNG recommends registering for the event early by going on to the website: www.professionalsocialnetworkinggroup.com. There are registration tables at the event, where attendees must provide their name, number and email.

Each event has display tables for charity organizations to promote their own causes. Businesses donate prizes to a raffle held at each event. 100% of the money raised by raffles at the event go to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

PSNG is run entirely by volunteers. Individual people and businesses donate such things as venue space, photography, videography, entertainment, graphic design, printing and raffle prizes. Volunteers donate their time to help work the registration table at the event, or work behind the scenes to make sure the event runs smoothly. They invest their own resources and in return receive experience, credibility, goodwill, and most importantly, professional relationships.
