Sports is not just about physical strength, skills and endurance. It is also a test of a person's mental stability, attitude, strategy, and ability to analyze the situation from the outside. Every athlete or sportsman has to have the ability to anticipate and be ready to counter his opponent's action plans.

Sports is actually a battle of bodies and minds. This is one of the reasons why sports psychologists are needed by professional teams or individual athletes; they can help to shape the competitive spirit and character of a true sportsman.

Jobs in sports psychology are in great demand nowadays, and people who possess a degree in this field have plenty of opportunities to obtain a promising career.
