Tokyo Author Pens Frontier-Science Self-Help Guide
Online, January 4, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Veteran science writer Eric A. Smith has just published The Path, a revolutionary new approach to self-development, exploring cutting-edge psychology, neurochemistry, communications theory, cosmology, anthropology, physiology and nutrition. Says Smith,
"The Path lays out basic science for the complete layman, then builds upon it to an expert level, teaching the very latest in scientific discoveries that aren't even out in the public yet. It then teaches you how to apply these findings to self development in every aspect of your life. It's filled with very detailed, rich illustrations to explain each point."
"I honestly believe it's utterly unique, and the most powerful self-help book ever written. Within the last three years, scientists have uncovered some of the mind's deepest, most mysterious inner workings, with tremendous implications for your own personal development, achievement and life satisfaction. You have never seen anything like The Path. This is the real thing - the true secrets to life.
"The Path brings Anthony Robbins and Dale Carnegie into the 21st century - applying science's latest explosive discoveries to the 'science of self-improvement'.
"Want to excel at sports? Ace your exam? Woo your heart's desire? Win over an enemy? Raise your IQ? Develop a super-memory? Drop your body fat and stay slim and healthy for life? Live to see 100? The Path teaches you how - and much, much more. It's my mission to share these findings with you, and, through this awareness, to help you improve your lot in life -physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually, sexually and romantically.
"A mountain of research from within the last decade, much of it still unknown to the mainstream public, contains the secrets to pushing the boundaries of human possibility farther than ever before in human hisory. I've extensively and meticulously researched, documented and integrated this research into the most powerful self-help book ever written."
Writing runs in the family. Smith is the grandson of NC poet laureate Sam Ragan and former Wilmington Star-News editor Marjorie Ragan. Although a veteran reporter and editor, The Path marks his book-writing debut.
Smith was a science reporter and photographer for The Beacon in Research Triangle Park, before moving to Canada and opening his first company. Since that time, he has been teaching in colleges and corporations in Canada, the US and Japan. A UNC Chancellor's Scholar and multiple Dean's List honoree in journalism, he also holds A+, Network+ and Microsoft PC engineering certifications, national certification in Japanese and recently established the design company Polyglot Studios, KK. His cats are named Bibi and Onion.
