Online, November 10, 2010 (Newswire.com) - YellowBlue Designs has just launched a Universal Design house plan that is the future of home design. Not only does this house plan take into account universal design principles it is also a green home design that will significantly reduce your carbon footprint and your heating cots. This house plan is designed to be fully wheelchair accessible with barrier free doorways and thresholds, a curbless shower, and room to turn a wheelchair 360 degrees in the bathroom. Other considerations include easy grab handles on doorways and plumbing fixtures, easily accessible doors cabinets, lighting controls, and window cranks. This is a home to live in for all stages in your life.

Your heating costs will be minimal with a fully passive solar house plan such as this. Go even further and take advantage a design that is ready for you to install photovoltaic, wastewater heat recovery, and liquid solar thermal systems. You'll reduce energy costs by up to 80%.

About YellowBlue Designs

YellowBlue Designs is a marketplace for stock Green House Plans. We work with designers from all over North America to provide eco-friendly house designs at affordable prices. We're not architects or designers at YellowBlue, but we do believe in Green living and supporting sustainable living principles. The revenue from each plan is shared directly with the designer. YellowBlue acts as the 'sales and marketing' department for a number of designers who wouldn't otherwise have the ability to distribute their designs effectively on the Internet.

Our Green designs may take advantage of the sun through passive solar and active solar features, they are carefully insulated and sealed to ensure minimal heat loss, they may incorporate the use of sustainable materials, or they may just be small, limiting your overall carbon footprint.
